Here is the Norwegian Curling squad for the Youth Olympic Games in January 2012:

Martin Sesaker (Oppdal Curling Club), Ina Roll Backe and Stine Haalien (Stabekk Curling Club), Markus Skogvold (Hamar Curling Club) with team leader Petter Moe will represent Norway at the Youth Olympic Games.

The Youth Olympic Games were first held in Singapore in 2010 in the form of summer games. The first winter edition will be held in Innsbruck, Austria. Innsbruck will have the pleasure of passing on the Olympic Torch to Lillehammer in Norway who will be hosts of the next Winter Youth Olympic Games in 2016.

The event in Innsbruck starts with a mixed curling tournament and finishes with mixed doubles where the Norwegian athletes will be paired with another athlete from another nation to compete together as a team.

The aim of the Youth Olympics is to implement the Olympic values ​​at an early age, as well as establish links between young athletes.
